摘要
Concerns about the detrimental effect of work family conflict on wellbeing have been raised widely by Western researchers but a few research in Eastern collectivistic societies particularly Malaysia. The current study investigates the association of work family conflict on employees' wellbeing (job satisfaction and family satisfaction) in Malaysia. A questionnaire survey approach was used as a method of quantitative data collection involving 95 employees from the public and private sector in Malaysia. The results of multiple regression analysis revealed that family to work conflict (FWC) were significantly correlated with job satisfaction and life satisfaction. This study contributes to the corpus of literature on employee wellbeing as well as the practical implication to the organisations.
