摘要
This paper uses a simplified numerical two-dimensional model to calculate the low-frequency current-density distribution in the horizontal thorax section of the human body. The model considers the application of two electrodes on the spinal surface where neurological disease is under treatment. The report provides data for the numerical model, the simulation procedure, and the graphs of the current distribution in the normalized view along the main control lines of the model. The simulation results suggest a possibility of observing current flow through vitally important organs (like the heart) with a similar density to that through the tissue being treated.
