Algebraic geometry's approach to permutation polynomials in several indeterminates

摘要：
In 1991, Niederreiter proposed an open problem - to characterize the polynomials in F-q[x(1),...,x(n)] which are permutation polynomials over all finite extensions of F-q. The answer is well known for the case of n = 1. In the present paper, the author studies this problem for the case of n = 2 and gives a geometric characterization.
