摘要
Vehicles and drive trains for large-scale farming operations require a maximum of productivity and efficiency, hence also a minimum of downtime for service and maintenance. Dedicated for those applications ZF developed the most powerful CVT transmission, based on the proven Eccom technology, ready for series production. A modular design concept for the major CVT components allows to derive drive train variations (e.g. for standard or articulated tractors) that can be tailored to specific vehicle requirements. This aspect offers particular advantages with regard to development expenditures and development times as well as parts costs. In order to fully exploit the productivity and functions provided by such a highly capable transmission, it must be equipped with the most innovative electronic vehicle controls. ZF as a system supplier offers the basic CVT transmission electronics that control the Eccom transmission, as well as a fully functional vehicle control unit that can be flexibly integrated in the respective vehicle operating concepts and networks.
