摘要
The trend of the 21st energy industry is rapidly gearing towards achieving sustainable energy. V2G is considered as one of the most promising technologies to implement the global clean energy goal. However, the impacts of the V2G units on the electric grid have to be properly investigated before the credibility of its performance prospects can be guaranteed. In this paper, a model is presented for investigating the impact of V2G placement on the energy loss profile of the electric distribution systems. The results of computer simulations are presented and analyzed. The results of this study show that the position of a V2G unit on a feeder line segment can potentially impact the energy loss in a feeder line. The results of this research will be resourceful for researchers seeking research-guided recommendations on the impact of V2G placement on the distribution system.
