摘要
We discuss periodic crack propagation in a strip of glass that is pulled from a hot oven towards a cold bath, and develop a dynamical description of the trajectory in the oscillatory regime. This theory is based on the dynamical law for crack propagation proposed by Hodgdon and Sethna. A comparison with experimental measurements without any free parameters is made.
