摘要
Labour contracting in transportation firms is important because the form of driver contract directly impacts driver incentives. Transportation firms are analyzed under three forms of organization based on driver contracts: fixed-wage contracts, lease-hold contracts, and share contracts. Actual market institutions and operations and their implications on transportation safety are discussed and illustrated in the context of private passenger transportation in Hong Kong and the Philippines.
