摘要：

We study an incompressible fluid with a sharply concentrated vorticity moving in the whole space. First, we review some known results for the inviscid case, which prove, in particular situations, the local induction approximation. Then, we discuss the vanishing viscosity limit and we state a new result valid for a smoke ring with a very large radius. (c) 2007 American Institute of Physics.
