摘要：
In this paper, the relationship between industrialization, energy efficiency, energy price, etc. and energy demand is investigated in the period from 1952 to 2010 based on the nonparametric model. The results are as follows: The rapid economic growth and the industries, particularly the heavy industries are the main reasons for the dramatic growth of the energy demand. The low energy efficiency exacerbated the tension of energy demand in China. The increase of the energy price index was not enough to offset the increase of the energy demand that the above factors bring.
