摘要
A technique suitable for the modelling of large detorming biological tissues with a neatly periodic microstructure is presented in this work. The proposed approach takes into account the heterogeneous material constitution and geometrical arrangement of the tissues at the microstructural level The global maternal properties are described triter ins of the homogenized (effective) parameters Numerical simulations are focused on the mechanical behaviour of an arterial wall (C) 2009 IMACS.
