摘要
In most cases of rear-end accident and multi-vehicle collision, the drivers are unable to switch on the hazard lights due to unconsciousness, injuries or else hazard warning system had been damaged. This situation is dangerous especially in low-visibility conditions and at the high-speed routes. A new concept of emergency hazard lights system on vehicle after collision had been developed to warn other road user automatically after collision even if the vehicle's battery permanently damaged. Survey over 250 various driver and analysis through SPSS find out the system must have independent power supply, impact detection as well as blinking light for good performance. The system developed utilizes impact sensors to provide signal into microcontroller prior light up the LED system independently. The prototype product is developed, and test using small scale vehicle and shows function well with only 0.6mA required to run independent system with 12V battery and LED's.
