摘要
Informal employment migrant workers have played a dominant role in the construction industry. At present, for many informal employment rights and interests disputes in the construction industry, the main reason is that social security measures are not in place for informal employment workers. In this paper, based on data from a survey of informal employment migrant workers in the construction industry, a logistic regression analysis find that, a lack of social security measures for informal employment migrant workers in the construction industry is rooted in labor market segmentation. In order to achieve a harmonious development of construction industry and protection of informal employment migrant workers, the key is to push forward social security measures for informal employment migrant workers as a way to effectively protect their legitimate rights and interests.
