摘要
Anyspot is a web-service-based platform that seamlessly connects users to personal and shared documents that meet several requirements of pervasive information access. Anyspot adds fast personalized access, seamless sharing, portable and embedded interfaces, and integrated network services in a single platform. Anyspot's file sources supports user's existing work practices without any need to adopt new storage systems, operating systems, or client interfaces. Anyspot combines features in both in-place remote-access solutions and Web repository solutions to allow users to access the original version of a shared file through its proxy presentation and synchronize a shared copy and the original. Anyspot PIP application runs on a shared device such as a podium PC or Smart Board that lest users to swipe a smart card to instantly open and present their desktop documents.
