Effect of modulation and magnetic field on the properties of two-dimensional Coulomb systems

摘要
A two-dimensional (2D) electron system in a modulation potential and a weak uniform perpendicular magnetic field is studied by a molecular-dynamics simulation method. The simulation results clearly demonstrate some interesting oscillations in the diffusion coefficient, which we interpret in terms of the orbital motion of the electrons on the modulated 2D system.
