Efficient Delay and AoA Estimation Using Vector Antenna for Radio Propagation Measurements

摘要
Channel parameter estimation is an essential part for radio propagation measurements. An electromagnetic vector antenna (EMVA) based method is proposed to estimate delay and angle of arrival (AoA). The parallel factor (PARAFAC) decomposition is used to obtain the AoA and the delay of each ray. The proposed method can extract more rays than the antenna number even with only one snapshot. The simulation results verify the proposed method.
