From spectroscopy of mesonic atoms to a search for deeply bound kaonic states

摘要：
Recently we reported the formation of a so-called strange tribaryon S-0 (3115) in the proton spectrum from the negative kaon reaction at rest in a helium target. The experiment was triggered by a recent theoretical prediction of a deeply bound kaonic state, as well as a series of exotic atom experimental results. It is still not clear that the strange tribaryon is due to the formation of a deeply bound kaonic state. In the present paper, we overview the present situation of the experimental studies.
