摘要
The scope of this paper is to analyze the downlink capacity of WCDMA for mixed speech/packet (multimedia) traffic. The method in this paper adopts the simplest and most accurate models from standard research works in the literature to construct the simple procedure for analyzing WCDMA downlink capacity. A comparison of downlink capacity between urban environment pedestrian 3km/hr and suburban environment vehicular 120km/hr is described in this paper. The methods presented in this research can be used for rough estimates and will be a valuable contribution towards mobile Interner system designs.
