摘要
This research is part of the need to verify the practical fulfilment of the legislation, namely, the study of the histories, cultures and knowledge of the diverse ethnic groups in the non indigenous classrooms. That said, the objectives of this are: to verify compliance with laws that ensure the teaching of the diversity of indigenous peoples of Mato Grosso do Sul in non-indigenous schools in Campo Grande-MS; present the results obtained through the application of questions in the last schools, to discuss mishaps and possibilities that permeate the school environment that contemplates a diversity. For this reason, a methodology is based on the anthropological theories, through which they discuss concepts such as interculturality, multiculturality, ethnocentrism, otherness, stereotype, among others that lend emphasis to the qualitative and quantitative approach. Therefore, in the paper I present some preliminary conclusions regarding the problems caused by the physical and epistemological distance between the non-indigenous school and the indigenous people.
