摘要
A second-phase, particle-strengthened tungsten alloy, tungsten-4w/o rhenium-0.32w/o hafnium carbide (W-4Re-0.32HfC), was creep tested at temperature ranges of 2200-2400 K and stress ranges of 40-70 MPa in an ultrahigh vacuum. Steady-state creep rates for W-4Re-0.32HfC were compared with three second-phase strengthened creep models: the Ansell-Weertman, Lagneborg, and Roesler-Arzt models. The results showed that none of the three models predicted the steady-state creep rates of W-4Re-0.32HfC. However, the recovery creep model of Lagneborg qualitatively fit the steady-state creep rates of the alloy.
