A Novel Magnetic TiO2-Graphene Oxide Composite Material with Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance for Acridine Orange

摘要
Magnetically separable TiO2-graphene oxide nanocomposites (Fe3O4/TiO2/GO(0.10)) and magnetically TiO2 nanocomposites (Fe3O4/TiO2) were successfully synthesized by coprecipitation method. As prepared Fe3O4/TiO2/GO(0.10) and Fe3O4/TiO2 were characterized by SEM-EDS, FTIR, XRD, TG, specific surface area and pore size analysis. The photocatalytic efficiency of Fe3O4/TiO2/ GO(0.10) and Fe3O4/TiO2 were evaluated using the degradation of acridine orange. The effect of pH, time, ultraviolet and recycle on photocatalytic performance of Fe3O4/TiO2/GO(0.10) and Fe3O4/TiO2 were studied. Fe3O4/TiO2/GO(0.10) is better than Fe3O4/TiO2 for the degradation of acridine orange under visible light and ultraviolet light. This is mainly because the addition of GO can improve the photocatalytic performance of Fe3O4/TiO2/GO(0.10). Fe3O4/TiO2/GO(0.10) exhibited reasonably good photocatalytic efficiency after three cycles. Fe3O4/TiO2/GO(0.10) can be used as a recyclable catalyst for the removal of acridine orange.
