摘要
According to the goal setting theory the individuals are interpreted as active participants in the process of motivation. Through active individual decisions they affect the various aspects of work, such as amount of time devoted to the work. They also expect improvement of the material standards and career progression. The presented paper analyzes the work motivation of selected employee groups according to the level of management. The author of the report have focused on the structure of work, basic working motives, time demands, job satisfaction, working conditions as well as an income. The analyzed data follows up the fifth round of the international research project European Social Survey (2010), conducted in 27 European countries (N = 52,458). The results of a comparison refer for greater personal involvement, time-consuming as well as job satisfaction and income evaluation among managers.
