摘要
This paper presents a comparative study of different methods for cancellation of surface reflections in ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology. Mean subtraction and singular value decomposition are studied and compared using the same experimental data set from real soil medium. Besides, a new method named dual-band cancellation method is also presented in the comparison. Experimental results show that the conventional surface cancellation methods have their own drawbacks when the medium surface is not flat. The newly proposed method has advantages in soil surface clutter cancellation.
