Informed consent and assessment of decisional capacity continues to draw the attention of researchers. A number of noteworthy articles has recently appeared dealing with the theory and interpretation of informed consent and decisional capacity, consent in psychiartic treatment contexts, and consent in research with patients suffering from psychiatric disorders.
