摘要
We have studied c-axis low-frequency noise properties of mesa-type junctions made from Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy (BSCCO) single crystals. The c-axis current vs, voltage (I-V) characteristics were measured by four-terminal method. Nine discrete-resistive-branches with hysteresis were observed in the I-V curves. We estimated the magnitude of the Hooge's l/f noise parameter eta from noise voltage spectral density in a BSCCO intrinsic Josephson junction (IJJ) when it was biased on each branch. The bias current kept constant. The value of eta did not depend on the number of junctions. This result indicates that no excess noise caused by the interactions between the intrinsic junctions in the mesa.
