摘要
This article analyzes the implementation of telework as a process accomplished through changes in organizational culture and structure. In considering this scenario, the article presents an assessment model to diagnose the degree of organizational readiness to implement flexible work arrangements such as home telework. The assessment model analyzes the following aspects: 1) the organizational context; 2) the context of functions; 3) the individual context; and 4) the home context. After presenting the assessment model, the article also delineates the organizational characteristics that are conducive to telework as well as practical actions towards its successful implementation.
