摘要
A new diffusion bonding technique combined with laser surface modification to join TiAl alloy with Ni alloy is proposed. Microstructures of laser modified layers on the surface of intended bonding alloys are studied, and effects of laser surface modification and bonding temperatures on the diffusion bonding of TiAl alloy to Ni alloy are discussed. The results show that laser surface modification improves shear strengths of the bonds, and sound bond can be achieved at 1173 K with a pressure of 60 MPa in 1 h. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
