摘要
This present study is a part of an investigation during one year in a complex of natural gas liquefaction in Algeria. The topic consists of estimation the boil off rate in the three storage tanks of LNG. A mean value for the three tanks was estimated during this period and was approximately 3 % which is very far from the design value (0.08 %). Therefore, two solutions are proposed to resolve this problem: First a plan of maintenance for the different equipment in relation with the storage conditions, as well as the revision of the some functional parameters is proposed. The second solution consists of designing and installing a loop of recovery and recycle of the BOG in the process. To confirm the choice of these solutions a detailed economic approach for the investment costs and the benefits of the proposed installation was carried out.
