摘要
The bond between carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) and concrete is a significant factor that affects the load capacity of structural members strengthened by near-surface mounted (NSM) technique. In this study, several factors that affect the bond were investigated to find the optimum conditions to attain maximum performance by using this technique of strengthening. The cracking behaviour of each beam specimen was also investigated. The results showed that the groove depth, fibre shape, groove surface, and wrapping distribution were the critical factors that affected the capacity and failure mode of the specimens.
