摘要
A 14-week, large-scale field study in Delaware demonstrated that, on a moderately exposed sandy beach, nutrients, not oil-degrading microorganisms, were the primary factors limiting biodegradation. The results are reviewed in the context of lessons and guidelines for a full-scale bioremediation response.
