摘要
A standalone GPS cannot be used for CAT-I, II, and III aircraft landing application. Additional ranging signals from pseudolites on the ground make VDOP (vertical dilution of precision) lower and deliver DGPS error correction information to the user aircraft around airport area. As a result, pseudolites improve accuracy, integrity, and availability of augmented GPS system. This paper is concerning availability test of augmented CAT-I landing system using pseudolites and a geostationary satellites at Inchon International Airport in Korea. Based on minimizing the worst case of GPS satellite outage, the best locations for two pseudolites are to be determined at Inchon International Airport.
