摘要
Curved Frequency selective surface (FSS) radome was analyzed by using characteristic basis function method (CBFM). Analysis of conventional FSS radome is classified as electrically large problem and regarded as multiple excitation problem which is cause of increasing in computer resources and calculation time. CBFM is appropriate method to analyze electrically large problem including multiple excitation. We presented several FSS examples for RCS analysis and CPU time for solving FSS with CBFM showed more than 90% reduction compared to conventional method of moment (MoM). We analyzed curved FSS radome to verify accuracy and CPU time-reduction characteristics of CBFM when it applied to complicated FSS structure.
