摘要
This paper analyses the feature of general and functional model of part libraries according to ISO 13584. It investigates the possibilities of defining specific views upon a product during the design process whilst using parts libraries. The paper provides a short introduction of the concept of general and functional model, then concentrates on the view concept and presents how aspects of design knowledge may be stored in a part library.
