摘要
The stereochemistry of some now 1,3-dioxanes prepared from 1,4-benzenedicarbaldehyde has been deduced from NMR studies and from the crystal structure of one compound determined by single-crystal, X-ray diffractometry. trans. trans; cis, cis and cis, trans isomers of some of these compounds have been identified and their ratio has been calculated from NMR spectra.
