摘要
With the gradual development of 5G, the need for indoor coverage becomes more and more urgent. Since a large number of 2/3/4G indoor distributed antenna systems ( DAS) have been deployed on the current network, the 5G RRU can be directly connected to the existing DAS distribution system to achieve rapid deployment of 5G indoor coverage system at low cost. However, the existing DAS are mostly one branch, and 5G multiple input multiple output (MIMO) cannot be implemented on one branch. In order to deploy 5G MIMO through the existing DAS system, this paper proposed the Interleaved floor MIMO solution. A performance analysis has been carried out in realistic network,and the results reveal that Interleaved floor MIMO solution really improves NR indoor coverage performance. This approach enables the deployment of 5G MIMO indoor coverage with minimal investment and modifications, improving network performance.
