摘要
In this paper we report on a resonant magnetic X-Ray scattering (RMXS) study of the low dimensional antiferro-magnetic system KCuF3. Azimuthal scans performed on the quadrupolar feature discovered in the spectrum of the magnetic peaks is analysed: the presence of a F-E2((3)) term poses serious doubts on the local symmetry description at the Cu site.
