The Baroque background of psychoanalysis

This study shows the notable legacy of the Baroque that irradiates to the psychoanalytical culture. We explore this link of the baroque culture with the psychoanalytical through the following topics: the identity signs, the art of the look, the therapeutic conception and the style. Finally it is intended to promote a reflection on what is baroque as relevant inheritance to have a deepest and comprehensive vision of the psychoanalytical culture and, by extension, of our sociocultural present time.
