摘要
With the Covid-19 situation globally, the world has become more virtual than physical. Embracing this change to the benefit of organizations is the need of the hour. The present paper examines how the human resources function has transformed during the pandemic, specifically relating to the Performance Management Systems (PMS). The study conducted by interviewing 20 HR professionals from IT industry in India through semi structured questionnaire. The study results indicate that adopting human resource information system (HRIS) as an important tool for capturing and managing employee performance highlighting an organization's progressive approach to adapt to digital space. In the present pandemic situation, HRIS tool has several benefits that managers can adopt to reduce uncertainty and adopt an advanced approach for employee upliftment. Based on the results, managerial and theoretical implications are discussed in the study.
