Insertion of O2 into a Pd(I)-Pd(I) dimer and subsequent C-O bond formation by activation of a C-H bond

摘要
The reaction between O-2 and the dimer [Pd-2(mu-Br)(2)(PBu3t)(2)] leads to the formation of the novel dimeric compound[Pd(mu-OCH2{CMe2}PBu2t)Br](2) by coordination of O-2 to the original palladium dimer and further formation of two C-O bonds by intramolecular activation of C-H bonds.
