摘要
The solubilities of dichlorophenylphosphine sulfide (DCPPS) and bis(4-carboxyphenyl)phenylphosphine oxide (BCPPO) in pure water were determined. The concentration of the solution was determined by sodium hydroxide titration with phenolphthalein as indicator. The synthesis and characterization of the compounds are described. The solubilities of DCPPS were measured over the range 23 to 50 degrees C and the solubilities of BCPPO were measured over the range 23 to 75 degrees C with the uncertainty of 1.5% and 4.1% respectively.
