The teaching of economic and financial translation. A didactic proposal

摘要
This article presents a didactic proposal aimed at improving the thematic and instrumental skills of the fourth year economic and financial translation students of the Degree in Translation and Interpreting of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Granada which could moreover be extended to other academic centers. This proposal is developed from a series of activities related to the analysis-comprehension phases of the source text and transfer of the source language to the target language in the Spanish / French linguistic combination. It is directly related to the objectives of, on the one hand, acquiring techniques to overcome the cognitive obstacles present in texts and, on the other hand, to apply certain concepts acquired in the course of "Terminology."The article is structured into the following parts: the introduction, the didactic research in economic and financial translation, the theoretical foundations of the didactic proposal, the methodology applied, the proposal itself, and the conclusion. © Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs (FIT) Revue Babel.
