The Coordinated Development of Agriculture in China based on the Perspective of a Low-Carbon Economy

With the rapid development of the world economy and the increase of the greenhouse effect, controlling greenhouse gases, which cause climate warming, has become the top priority in current environmental protection work. However, a low-carbon economy in agricultural expansion is only at its beginning stages. This study analyzed the present situation of China's agricultural development by exploring the theory and application of the low-carbon economy and the coordinated progress of agriculture. Then, the problems existing in the development of traditional agriculture, as well as the possibility of a low-carbon economy and agricultural expansion were discussed. Traditional agriculture and agricultural progress based on a low-carbon economy were also compared. Finally, the advantages of agricultural development based on a low-carbon economy were analyzed and conclusions were drawn. Results show that the idea of integrating a low-carbon economy to agricultural expansion in the global environment can fully meet and adapt to the changing needs of the times. The combination of the two not only contributes to environmental protection, but also plays a strong role in promoting the advance of agriculture, which will in turn create a new type of agricultural representative.
