Numerical simulation and experiment research on flow characteristics of capillary in refrigerator

摘要
In this paper a new capillary model was advanced. The model considered adiabatic flow and four flow resistance parts including contraction loss part at the capillary's entry, the single-phase flow part in the capillary's first section, the two-phase flow part in the capillary's last section and the enlargement loss part at the capillary's egress. According to the model a program was developed to calculate the flow characteristics of capillary in refrigerator. Some experiments were done to prove the model. The results were discussed at the end of this paper. The model, the program and the research results will do some help to the design and applying of capillary.
