摘要
Under the challenge of the information era and actual situations in our country's media literacy education, this research aims to take an experimental study on children's media literacy education in primary school students. It used a non equivalent-group pre-test and post-test experimental design, with 106 fifth-grade students as participants, and the children's media literacy education as the independent variables, each 40 minutes long, twice per week, 27 lessons in total. Media literacy was the dependent variable used to explore the effects of the children's media literacy education. The results showed that children's media literacy education had a positive effect on improving media literacy. The curriculum we designed was a native one that is suitable for Chinese children. It is urgent to promote media literacy education gradually from a way of "Protectionism" to "Beyond Protectionism."
