摘要
The two potential causes of cogging force in linear permanent magnet motors are the slotting and the finite length of the iron cored armature. However, this paper is concerned only with the slotless motors, for which a technique has been developed and validated for minimising the cogging force which is produced when the armature has an annular mild steel yoke.
