Influence of extrusion temperature on structure of eutectoid Zn-Al alloy

摘要
Microstructures of eutectoid Zn-Al alloys were studied after extrusion at different temperatures. The decomposition of the newly observed eta'(E) phase and the four phase transformation, alpha + epsilon --> T' + eta, were found to be responsible for the dimensional changes during the isothermal holding. Influence of extrusion temperature on microstructure of the alloy is discussed.
