摘要
The work presents a generalised theoretical and experimental research into soil tillage technological processes and forces exerted by soil upon the operating parts of tillage machines and their elements (three-sided wedges having a plain, curved or compound lifting surface. The methods of mechanics and mathematics used lo describes these processes, and analytic equations obtained as a results of theoretical studies made it possible to estimate the interaction between the soil and the operating surfaces, as well as their draft resistance. This also enabled to substantiate rational designs and functional modes of the operating parts, machines and aggregates. The specific draft resistance of the soil tillage machine basically includes such component resistances as soil strip cutting-off its gravity and inertia forces, and adhesion. To ensure minimum resistance, the inclination angle between the lip of the concave lifting surface and the bottom of the furrow, must be minimum (24-30 degrees). Bq increasing the operating speed from 1 to 4 m/s the optimum value of the angle between the horizontal generatrix of the concave lifting surface and the vertical longitudinal plane decreases from 50...60 degrees to 30...32 degrees.
