Concurrent engineering for product, process and market development

It is pointed out that to cope with the increasing diversification and globalization, concurrent engineering should be changed and deployed in a more strategic manner. In this new framework of CE, goal coordination and identification across different stages will be the prerequisite, and team working will be crucial to get away from our traditional product-oriented development to produce new processes and markets to add more value to our products. Thus, product, process and market creation will be the keyword for the coming concurrent engineering. And it should also be emphasized that communication will grow its importance in this new CE framework.
