摘要
Automatic electromagnetic device design is now becoming possible. Advances in numerical methods, knowledge-based techniques and database structures are helping to solve the problem of synthesis. The paper discusses the major problems of design and reviews techniques which have been developed for solving them. An architecture for a design system is proposed.
