Active fault tolerant control of LPV descriptor systems based on extended state observers

摘要
In this paper, an integrated active fault tolerant control (AFTC) scheme is proposed within a linear parameter varying (LPV) descriptor system context. The proposed scheme concerns both the response speed and robustness to bounded exogenous disturbance and both modelling uncertainty by combining pole-placement and optimization. The proposed AFTC system is based on an extended state observer (ESO) and state feedback controller using sensor fault hiding and actuator fault compensation. The ESO is designed to provide estimates of system states and faults simultaneously. A numerical example is studied to show the design procedure and effectiveness of proposed approach.
