Crystal structures and voltammetric behavior of three copper(II) complexes derived from bulky Schiff bases

摘要
Three Schiff base copper(II) complexes have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectra, i.r., electronic spectra, mu(eff) and X-ray crystal structures. Cyclic voltammetry studies on the complexes indicate a dependence of the cathodic potentials upon electronic effects, but independence on the solid state structure.
